Memories in the Mail

Yesterday I got quite the surprise in the mail. My friend Audrey sent me some pictures that she drew of my family in the 6th grade. I couldn't stop laughing. She got every detail, down the the clothes I remember all of us wearing. I never get anything great in the mail anymore, this was an awesome surprise! Thanks Audrey!

The Cervone Family (including Frienda and Peanut)

Peggy and Vic

Me, Nikki (the bird) and Peanut

Gianna playing Nintendo (I think she was playing the game Jaws)

Carolina playing with the Barbie Dream House.

I'm Not Ready!!!

She is just too happy in that big bed. Here are some early pictures....everytime we put her to bed I want to cry and she is as happy as she can be. Sometimes I miss my Baby Bella.

Giuliana Masters the Slide

Giuliana got a slide (along with a picnic table and lots of outdoor stuff) for her birthday. Today we were working in the yard and decided to occupy the kids with the slide while we finished. Giuliana just couldn't get on the slide by herself but that little one worked and worked and in about 20 minutes (and lots of help from Daddy) she mastered the slide. They were having so much fun we brought it into the house and they played while we worked inside.

Isabella's First Sleep Over

This weekend Katy spent the night with us in Isabella's new big bed. They were very cute and were not up all night like I had feared. Both girls feel asleep around 10:30 and after a small chat at 4:30am they slept again until almost 8. The next morning we went to a pancake breakfast to support the local Lions Club and then off to Castle Rock to see Katy's new house, and a little shopping at the outlets! I think Isabella (and Katy) had a great time.

Jackie's Baby BBQ!!

No they didn't BBQ any babies! The girls and I went down for Jackie's baby shower today and had a really nice time. Jackie looks really good and everyone is really excited to meet Baby B next month!

No baby shower would be complete without a case of beer! :)

Well I Tried

When I was pregnant with Isabella we decided to do her room with jungle animals and very neutral colors because we didn't want to buy more stuff if the next baby was a boy and we just thought the stuff we had picked out was adorable. As she grew I thought she would like more of the blues and greens and not be a very "girly" girl, I was flat out wrong. By 2 she was going around saying her favorite color was pink. Well lately she has been complaining that her toddler bed is too small and that her legs hurt so Jake and I have decided to redo her room for a big girl. She picked out her own bedding today and I just laughed when the set she picked out was the princess collection, everything is pink. She didn't even want to look at other colors. Well her big girl mattresses arrive on Friday so we will be spending the next 3 days turning her room PINK!

Going Green

While shopping the other day I saw that Clorox's new Green Works cleaners were on sale. I decided that the Hoban Family was going green, but only one step at a time. I started with the floor cleaner. To my amazement it worked incredibly well. There is no residue, so harsh smell, and most importantly no dirt on my floor. If anyone is interested, this is a great value. By the way we are also on the super concentrated laundry soap bandwagon too. :)

Brushing Again

I know we post a lot of teeth brushing pictures but I was watching them tonight and I just can't get over how fast they grow up.

How Engineers Celebrate April Fool's Day

So Jake and his co-workers thought it would be funny to buy the worst beer they could find and stack up the cans on their boss's desk. His boss is a beer lover and not a morning person so they were able stack everything that morning. I guess this was pretty least that's what he tells me.
