Ninja Giuli

Thanks a Lot Mom!

While on vacation in Estes Park last week my Mom and sister thought it would be fun to watch some movies they had watched a lot when we were kids. My Mom has always been a huge fan on the Alien movies and while Gianna and Carolina grew up watching them, I grew up trying my hardest to avoid them. When it comes to scary movies I am a huge chicken, this is no news to anyone who knows me. Well I was lucky on this trip to miss the Alien but did manage to catch all of Alien 3 and 4. Keep in mind it was about 9 degrees outside and there wasn't a whole lot of other things to keep me busy, unlike Jake.
I have to say that they were better than I had remembered and once I got home I decided to check my OnDemand service and find out if the first 2 would be on sometime soon. To my surprise they were on that night so Sunday I watched Alien and tonight I watched Aliens. Now I can't stop dreaming about the darn creatures. Not nightmares but just really weird dreams and they are in all of them. I can't get away. This is why I avoid scary movies, they stay with me and I hate that. I am a chicken proud and true.

PS. Don't tell my family I watched them both mostly on mute. :)

Isabella and Giuliana's Big Surprise!

We surprised the girls on Sunday morning by taking them to Playhouse Disney Live!! They were so surprised and had a blast singing and dancing with their favorite stars. They saw Mickey and the gang, Pooh and Tigger and The Little Einsteins. We all had a great time and Giuliana was dancing and singing for the rest of the day!

Late Night Baking

Isabella got a slight variation on the Easy Bake Oven for Christmas called Disney's Cool Bake Oven. It uses ice to "cook" cake batter and you can make tiny cakes with frosting and sprinkles. Quite honestly I thought the cake was revolting but Isabella had a blast cooking and eating her dessert. Although she mostly ate the sprinkles and left the rest behind.

Operation: Clean and Reorganize

We started in the kitchen and made it to the living room. It took 8 hours, we had a lot of junk to throw away. Tomorrow, Giuli and Bella's rooms.
