Christmas Card Picture Rejects

These pictures and about 99 more are the reason that we do not use professional photographers to take our Christmas pictures, we just can't afford the time and film! So for your enjoyment here are a few that landed in the reject pile. Out of 100 pictures taken only 3 were card worthy. Ha!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I will be away from the computer for the next few days for Thanksgiving so I wanted to send a real quick Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We hope it's great and I am looking forward to pictures and stories this weekend.

Save The Cheerleader, Save The World

As I am writing this my trusty DVR is recording a key episode of "Heroes." I have no idea why but I am completely hooked on this show and can hardly wait until tomorrow to watch. I am way too tired tonight. I don't know many people who watch it but this is the only new show that I have liked this season and I haven't missed an episode. I often wish that I could have super powers (sounds more lame than it is) and it's a nice way to see what your life might be like if you did. Anyway just thought I would share.

Brushing Those Pearly Whites!

I think this family has more fun brushing their teeth together than any other out there. I tell you we laugh, spit, gargle, and laugh again. Even Giuliana loves it, and we have a blast making her gums squeak!! I know this is a silly post but the Hobans have fun brushing their teeth. We live life on the edge. Ha!

New Table

I have wanted a round table since we bought this house almost 2 years ago. My neighbors were over to borrow a ladder yesterday and told me that they had a small round table in their basement just collecting dust so today Jake and I went to look at it. Though it's smaller than we wanted and a little darker wood it's a better fit in our kitchen and tonight at dinner it seemed like we had more room. I love it!

Cowgirl Bella

Today Isabella got to ride a horse for the very first time. She rode all by herself and did a wonderful job! Now she tells everyone that she rode a horse named Sizzle. I am jealous.

Wiped Out

Yesterday Isabella and I were waiting for Giuliana to wake up for her nap so we could go grocery shopping. We had a big day of baking planned but Giuliana wasn't very helpful. I put her down at 11am and she didn't get up until 4:30. I guess Isabella was sick of waiting because she decided to climb up in our bed and take her nap there. It was adorable. I couldn't figure out where she had gone. She was quite hidden under our blankets.

The Only Pictures I Have Taken Since Halloween

I think the title explains it all. We have been busy, I have been tired. Kids have been quiet. End of story. I will do better, I promise. The holidays are coming which I know will make for some great shots. :)

Giuliana, who doesn't crawl but rolls her way across the room

If you look very closely you can see a nice pair of bottom teeth!

Goodbye V3 Companies of Colorado

Today Jake gave his 2 week notice to his boss at V3 and will be leaving for another company in Brighton. It was a really hard decision but one he felt he needed to make. He will be 5 minutes from home so the long hours won't feel as long. He has made so many good friends at V3, we both have so it is somewhat sad to see him go. Jake is excited to start a new chapter in his career and I couldn't be more proud of him.

Blast from the Past

Ok-I admit, I haven't taken any pictures of the girls or anything else for that matter in over a week. The truth is we haven't done anything. So here are some pictures that while some are sweet, others should be burned. I also have to say that over the weekend marked the one year anniversary of when my Father passed away. On Saturday we had a wonderful dinner at my Mom's house with my whole family. We miss him so much and spent the day exactly how he would have wanted us to, together. Hope you get a good giggle out of these pictures.

My Baby

In case you thought we forgot about our second born here are some pictures of my little baby. Not so little anymore, she is doing a great job of saying mama and bye (which sounds like ba) even though she doesn't get that she is saying actual words it's still really cute. She sits up, holds her own bottle and is now munching on a little bit of adult food here and there. She is such a good baby, I can't believe she is already 7 months old. She will be 1 in no time.

Like Father, Like Daughter

Between Laundry and the Vacuum.......

You have Bella using Maggie as a footstool. They were like that for a good 10 minutes too. I would love to know how they got into that position in the first place. So funny.
